That was Fox News’s headline about Rick Santorum’s speech at the Detroit Economic Club on Thursday. Santorum said, “I’m not about equality of result when it comes to income inequality. There is income inequality in America. There always has been and, hopefully, and I do say that, there always will be.”

It is hard to believe that Rick Santorum would go to Detroit and praise income inequality, but he did!

He likes the inequality, he praises it, and he keeps his money to himself. Nice!

What a lothsome creature Santorum is, the man is certifiable, and the public needs to be protected from this lunatic.

Only on the vine can someone give an average of 20,000 per year to charity and that amount isn't enough. IT BEATS THE HELL OUT OF ZERO! The man doesn't owe a fuking dime of his money to anyone. He should be praised for giving and yet you chastise because it isn't enough.

The first person who told me that wasn't enough would the person guilty of costing charities 20,000 a year. And I'd send the name of the aszhole who said it to each charity so they could thank them.

So then, do you think it was smart of him praise income inequality too? In Detroit, the armpit of poverty, joblessness, and forclosures?

We are talking percentages here, and Santorum has not disclosed his income. Hmmm, I wonder why.

So sorry, Santorum has disclosed his income, my bad. I think he gives about 1% or very slightly more ot it to charity.

Inequality is always great for those on the upper side of the equation. We're talking about the same Santorum, who while serving the state of PA was living in Virginia, home schooling his kids and bilking the state of PA for $100,000 for fees to a PA charter school that they weren't going to. Yea, great guy.

Saint Rick gave the lowest % of his income to charity, out of all presidential candidates. How Christian of him. And guess who gave the highest? Obama.

How is saying something that is true a bad thing? It may be uncommon, but it isn't bad. For those who missed it, the reason people willingly came to America was because by working one could improve ones condition. It wasn't because the boat would be met by some twit who after apologizing for not personally picking them up from their home country, would hand them a bag of money.

While I don't like Santorum due to his history, I can't take issue with this statement. He is spot on.
