Is Romney simply this unappealing, or do the majority of Republicans really want to ditch Democracy as we know it to develop a whole new type of Theocracy According to Santorum?

This is interesting. But beneath the slime is this merely interesting, or is this something we should fear very much?

The Theocracy crowd are small and are being prostituted by the Supply Sider Oligarchy crowd. Never forget that truth may inform the voter, but money will ultimately buy the votes.

Besides, this is all a smokescreen. Santorum? Romney? It is like, would you serve pickled beets without the beets?

I think somewhere along the way Romney has not said what BIG MONEY wants to hear so the superpac behind Romney has spent less in defending him in some states to get his attention.

Slime or not, I think we need to take it seriously:

money will ultimately buy the votes

Yes.

I'd rather listen to Ron Paul than these two A%s hats. And make no mistake they are that.

Yes. At least Paul never waivers from his "ideals".
